Les Fontenelles Golf Course
The golf course is a 18 hole course set in beautiful countryside and close to the resort of St Gilles Croix de Vie in the Vendee Western France.
The course is 6775 m, 18 holes Par 72. Les Fontenelles is located in North West France approximately one hour south of the city of Nantes in the Pays De La Loire.The course is in undulating countryside lined with oak trees and maritime pines, there are stretches of water which enhance the layout. There is a newly build practice range which was opened in spring 2007. The range has a fine all weather shelter with twelve positions and a further twenty practice posts outside, there is WC facilities and disabled WC facilities.
Ajacent to the driving range there is a pitching green and two putting greens. During your stay at the house you can enjoy a 20% price reduction when playing the full eighteen holes and is based on the full price of 45 euros. If needed you can hire equipment from the pro shop, if you need coaching then there is often a professional trainer available during the summer months. Les Fontenelles is part of the Formule golf chain so you can use your discount on the other courses available in the area. These other courses range from forest courses to links courses like the superb St Jean de Monts which is playable all year. Other courses include La Domangère 40 Km, Port Bourgenay 41 Km, Pornic 70 Km, Savenay 95 Km. For the keen golfer you can buy a Brittany and Pays de la Loire golf pass of 123 euros which will give you unlimited golf for three playing days for all of the following golf courses, St- Laurent, Baden, Ploemeur-Océan, Val Quéven, Rhuys-Kerver, Odet, Cornouaille, St Malo, Rennes St-Jacques, Caen, Le Croisic, Savenay, Pornic, Port Bourgenay, Les Fontenelles, La Domangère, Mazières-en-Gâtine and Saintes.
