The Birdie - 2 Green Village
THE ACCOMMODATION
The house type is known as 'Birdie' and has a living space of 64 m² and will accommodate up to six people. It is comfortably furnished with two bedrooms, a mezzanine bedroom equipped with a 'click-clack' bed settee, a shower room upstairs and a bathroom/shower room downstairs, there are two separate toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs, there is a fully equipped kitchenette and a dining area/living room. There is satellite tv available. Please see photos of the accommodation available.
Outside there is a garden to the front and rear with maturing shubs. At the rear there is a attractive patio area for outdoor dining and sunbathing and relaxing. There is enough garden furniture provided to make yourselves comfortable. There is a cellar room where you can store golfing equipment etc. There is also a washing machine and laundry equipment available in the cellar room.
If visiting out of the main summer season or during winter time there is electric heating available at extra cost.
OTHER FACILITIES
The swimming pool is a two minute walk away and is heated and covers an area of 274 m². There is a safe childrens pool which covers 26 m². The poolside has a good quality patio area with loungers and a landscaped area beyond that, it is a good place to sunbathe and read your book!
There are three hard court tennis courts. Cost for the hire of the court is 7 euros per hour, you can bring your own equipment or hire raquets from the reception. There is also a Pétanque (Boules) court which is free.
There is also tracks to ride your bikes and is possible to join up with other cycle tracks leading to the beaches of Bretenolles sur Mer approximately 12km distant.
The nearest supermarket and other facilities is Coex which is about 3km away. St. Gilles Croix de Vie is about 12km distant and has many shops, banks, restaurants and a very picturesque port and a superb farmers market on a Sunday morning.
